Why you should try it
This recipe is done in no time and yet tastes delicious. The special feature of this dish is definitely the Pak Choi. It’s a little unusual combination of pasta and vegetables but this dish is in no way inferior to other pasta dishes. Try and convince yourself!
Ingredients
- 300 g pasta of your choice
- 300 g mushrooms
- 200 g pak choi
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g crème fraîche
- 100 ml vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- parmesan cheese
- olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare vegetables and cook pasta. Wash and finely chop onion. Peel and mince garlic. Wash pak choi and cut into 3×1 cm stripes. Clean mushrooms and quarter them. Once you're done with the preparations, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Fry vegetables. In a large pan, heat up some olive oil and add onion as well as the garlic. Fry for a few minutes, then add the mushrooms and pak choi. Fry for about 6 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- Add liquid and let it simmer. Add some salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Deglaze the pan with vegetable broth and cream, stir and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Assemble & Serve. Mix pasta with the sauce and serve with parmesan cheese. Bon appétit!
